The synopsis really gave me a good
push to read the book. However, the
book itself fell short of my
expectations. I stopped reading
after Chap 6. The basic flaw is
that the material is very old and
boring. I generally like time-
travelling book. However, most of
them turn out to be exactly alike,
and usually the writers just use
the same formula, except with a few
different twists. This book
painfully resembles most of the
time-travling books out there. The
book by itself is pretty descent,
but, given the circumstances, it
really doesn't stand out. I also
think that the development of the
love story is too fast and not very
well thought out.
