I was absolutely puzzled by the
stroyline in the movie of House of
Flying Daggers when I watched it.
It was no logic, no clear ideas at
all, you don't understand why
characters are doing what they are
doing. After reading the original
novel, the whole thing became
logic at least. Zhang yimo is
terribel to extreme with story,
though he is brillian about the
colours and pictures.
